Belmont, derived from my family name (Belmonte), means ' beautiful mountain' - a fitting symbol for both the terrain of the Venezuelan Andes, where our coffee is grown, and the values that inspire our craft.
I was born in Venezuela, where mountains aren't just scenery--they shape communities, flavors, and the stories we carry. When our family moved to Houston, we brought those stories with us, along with a desire to share the overlooked brilliance of Venezuelan coffee. Today, we roast in small batches for individuals and cafes who value origin, integrity, and a bold cup with a meaningful backstory.

Coffee straight from the Andes to your cup.
Our Venezuelan green beans originate from the state of Merida in the mountainous region of western Venezuela. Our connections are allowing Belmont Coffee Roasters to be one of the first roasters in the United States, and the first in Houston, Texas, to roast specialty Venezuelan coffee beans.
Your purchase supports the ethical Fairtrade coffee practice which ensures the Venezuelan coffee farmers are paid fair wages for their work.
